Freelance project job board and AI sourcing agent (Sherlock) for recruiters.

Collective (collective.work) is a recruitment platform that combines a job board, where companies post freelance projects, with Sherlock, an AI sourcing agent for recruiters. Its positioning has changed: the focus is now on AI-assisted recruiting, and the site announces no invoicing or payment features for freelancers.
Recruiters who want to search for profiles with AI, and freelancers who want to answer listings and make their profile visible to those recruiters. It's no longer presented as a platform that groups freelancers into collectives.
These are the prices of Collective Work's French offer. They may differ in your country.
The published prices are for recruiters: a free plan (limited AI searches), Basic at €95 per seat per month billed annually (€119 monthly), Start at €135 (€169 monthly) and custom Pro. On the freelancer side, we didn't find any pricing; the listings we looked at show 0% commission. Prices checked on collective.work in October 2026.
We list it as a complementary channel for answering freelance listings with no commission shown and for putting your profile in front of recruiters. The weak point to know about: the few public candidate reviews (Trustpilot, 4 reviews) mention little response, and the main offer now targets recruiters. Our detailed review of Collective Work goes back over this shift.

Sherlock is Collective's AI sourcing agent: it searches and filters profiles from a job description, a brief or an ideal candidate, for recruiters.
It has a job board with quick application and a profile visible to recruiters, but its main offer now targets recruiters. As a complementary channel, yes. As your only source of projects, nothing guarantees it will work.
